In the current environment of radical public spending cuts, it is more important than ever that public sector organisations work more closely with the private and voluntary sectors.
The Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce in camera dinner on Tuesday 14 September provided Chamber members with the opportunity to network and engage with the Chairs of leading public sector organisations and put their concerns forward in a face to face environment.
Members networked and engaged with Brian Rowntree; Chair of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, Howard Hastings; Chair of the Northern Ireland Tourist Board and Pat McCartan CBE; Chair of Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.
Event Sponsor, Paul Murnaghan of BT commented, “We are proud to be associated with the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce in camera series. It is inspirational to see the public and private sector engaging together to share examples of successful strategies for public sector transformation with the wider business community. The opportunities provided by the in camera series gives businesses confidence that their voices are being heard and we look forward to being involved with more events of this kind in the future.”
