In Camera: Caitriona Ruane, Minister for Education
The Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce was delighted to welcome Caitriona Ruane, Minister for Education, to an In Camera dinner on 1 June 2010.
The dinner, held at the Europa Hotel Belfast, provided 40 Chamber members the opportunity to quiz the Minister on issues including Essential Skills, STEM and the transfer test. The Minister also addressed attendees with her views on education systems and the economy.
Chamber Chief Executive Ann McGregor commented “We were delighted to welcome Caitriona Ruane to our in camera series. The event provided our members with a valuable networking opportunity and the chance for some open and frank dialogue with the Minister in a private setting. These events continue to prove highly successful with our members.”
