Nick Coburn, President
Nick Coburn, who recently succeeded Power NI’s Stephen McCully as President of NI Chamber, joined family owned Ulster Carpets in 1977, and was appointed Managing Director of Ulster Carpets Group in 2004. With a turnover of £60 million, the group manufactures carpets for the residential and contract markets locally and world-wide. Technological advancements in weaving capabilities enable the company to successfully compete at an international level and secure future employment in the Portadown area.
Ann McGregor MBE, Chief Executive
Ann McGregor MBE was appointed as CEO of the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry in June 2008. Ann is currently a Trustee of the Grand Opera House; a member of the Senate at Queen’s University; a Trustee of the Workers Pension Trust and a member of British Chambers of Commerce Global Accreditation Board. In October 2013, Ann was appointed by Finance Minister Simon Hamilton and Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Arlene Foster to the Access to Finance Implementation Panel.
