The Tomorrow Lab Presents: Social Media and Influencer Marketing
25 May 2017
May 25, 2017
Following the success of their digital marketing events last year, The Tomorrow Lab will be returning with #TTLPresents: Social Media and Influencer Marketing, an event that will be hugely valuable to any marketers and businesses wanting to increase their knowledge and expertise in these areas.
On Thursday 25 May, The Tomorrow Lab, Belfast-based creative digital marketing and web agency, will host #TTL Presents: Social Media & Influencer Marketing, an afternoon session featuring top influencers and brands that have built up a wealth of experience in these areas.
Speakers include social media influencer and former Miss Northern Ireland Tiffany Brien, who has amassed thousands of social media followers across her Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts; Brian Harte, Head of Customer Engagement & E-Marketing with Tourism Ireland; Jack Hamilton, Marketing Director at Mash Direct, a business which had a total reach of 7.5 million through its social media in 2016; Alex Ayin from Social Chain, now one of the most influential marketing agencies in Europe, with offices in Berlin, Manchester, NYC, London and soon to be India; Eoin Young, Online and Social media Community Manager at Electric Ireland; and Michael Beare, Director of Finn Lough Resort.
Also speaking at The Tomorrow Lab’s event is its own Social Media Executive, Jess Orr, who recently won Best Young Digital Person at the DANI Awards in Belfast.
“Social media and influencer marketing form a significant part of what we do at The Tomorrow Lab and we’re excited to be focusing in on these areas at our next event,” says Jess.
“With social media specifically, we will be sharing insights from our recent work with clients, as well as hearing from esteemed companies, such as Social Chain, Mash Direct, Electric Ireland, Tourism Ireland and Finn Lough Resort, about their latest campaigns and experiences across different social media channels.
“Influencer marketing, for those who don’t already know, is when an individual uses their personal brand and influence to promote another brand and its product/s. It’s an area that may not be so familiar to businesses but is certainly becoming popular. For instance, Forbes recently reported that 84% of marketers plan on executing at least one influencer marketing campaign in 2017. With that in mind, we’re delighted to focus on influencer marketing at this event, and hear from individuals like Tiffany Brien, one of the top influencers in Northern Ireland.”
Tickets cost £30 per person.
