Integrating Project Management with Service Management Best Practices – (Donegal)
01 Jan 1970
January 1, 1970
After running 10 successful breakfast briefings between our Dublin and Belfast offices over the past 12 months, attracting over 1500 attendees we are delighted to announce an 'Integrating Project Management with Service Management Best Practices' in conjunction with the Tech North West Skillnet and Grant Connections on October, 14th 2014 in the CoLab, in Letterkenny Institute of Technology, Co Donegal.
Project Management and Service Management are both well-known disciplines within IT, however, not much has been documented about how they co-exist and complement eachother. Our event on October 14th will address the gap by discussing how Service Management frameworks such as ITIL can integrate with well-known PM frameworks like Kanban, PRINCE2, Agile. Without the appropriate education, project teams may not realize the depth of integration between these two management disciplines. They may mistakenly think that the only integration point is when Project Management hands‐off the service to the operation teams within Service Management.
The event will aim to show that the points of integration between Project Management and Service Management are much deeper and more complex. Given the minimal industry discourse on integrating Project Management and Service Management, we plan to use this event as an open discussion with industry professionals and local industry case studies.
You will learn from the real-world experiences (both local and international) from our industry experts and practitioners who will educate you on the best practices of Integrating Project Management with Service Management with the end goal of adding business value no matter how large or small your organisation is. Like all SureSkills events it will be a very good educational briefing, a good networking opportunity to talk with fellow like-minded professionals and market leading SureSkills consultants as well as an opportunity to earn PDU’s.
