This online workshop will focus on developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to support winning business now and in the future.
The workshop aims to provide local business owners and business development managers with the practical tools to create and implement a sales strategy to grow their business including sales methods and approaches, sales relationships and setting sales objectives and metrics.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Gary Wilmot, Chief Executive at Kilwaughter Minerals, a leading company operating in the agriculture and construction industries. Gary will provide practical insights into setting and implementing a sales strategy. He will also share lessons learned and consider the impact of Covid on sales.
Aidan McGrath, Director at Acumensis, will provide a technical advice on setting and executing a successful sales strategy, considering methods and approaches, alongside setting objectives and metrics to measure effectiveness.
Gary Wilmot is a Chartered Director, a Chartered Engineer and a graduate of Queens University Belfast. Gary is particularly interested in strategy development and investing in team performance. Gary’s career experience has been acquired across a number of industries with various international roles held at senior management and director level including executive roles in product development and sales. Prior to Kilwaughter Minerals Gary was Managing Director of Andor Technology Limited, a business that innovated to provide scientific solutions to research scientists across the globe.
Aidan McGrath is an experienced trainer with a wealth of commercial experience. He has particular strengths in sales, sales management, business development, and entrepreneurship. He co-developed and is currently co-delivering the Sales Leadership Programme for the William J. Clinton Leadership Institute at Queen’s University. Aidan developed and delivered Sales Training courses for technology companies throughout the world including the UK, the Far East, South Africa and Silicon Valley. He developed and delivered the Export Sales Training programme for the Irish Software Association which ran for 8 years and trained sales teams from over 120 Irish Software companies.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, share ideas and troubleshoot sales problems with our expert, company speaker and other companies in attendance. This workshop will provide practical learnings and takeaways to enhance your selling strategies and further the growth of your business.
