We are delighted that our popular Energy Forum will continue throughout 2018 with the first of four events taking place on 23 February 2018 at 9.30-12.00pm at the Glenavon House Hotel in Cookstown.

With 2018 set to be a year of considerable change for Northern Ireland energy, we are also delighted to be joined by Richard Murphy, Energy Partner at Pinsent Masons, who will examine the year ahead and what it may mean for local businesses.
David Butler, Head of Engineering at SGN Natural Gas will also join the forum to provide an update on the Gas to the West Project – a major energy infrastructure project to extend the benefits of natural gas to thousands more homes and businesses in the west of Northern Ireland.

Henry Brothers is fast becoming one of Northern Ireland’s Green Leaders. Find out how the company has flourished over the years with many successes in the environmental field showing reductions of 17% in energy use and a 33% reduction in fuel use across the business. The introduction of two 75kwh solar PV panels to its main offices in Magherafelt will equate to a saving over the next 20 years of 540 tonnes of C02. Henry Brothers is also launching the NI Environmental Forum set up in conjunction with Business in the Community to drive environmental improvement across the business sector with the first event being held on the 26th January.
The company has undertaken a number of activities to manage environmental improvement during a period of significant business growth. Genesis Crafty has implemented various energy saving projects such as VSD compressed air, LED lighting with movement sensors, efficient LPG water heating, mechanical heat recovery ventilation (MHRV), as well as automated utility monitoring through a software based Energy Management System.
