Developing Trading Opportunities
The Northern Ireland Chamber's trade programmes can be categorised across three broad headings:
Near Market Introductions
InterTradeIreland's Network & Getwork cross border trade programme, is delivered by the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Dublin Chamber and offers local companies the opportunity to develop business opportunities with large buying organisations in the Republic of Ireland. It is an excellent first step for companies that are new to exporting
International Trade Visits
The Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce has organised multiple trade visits to international markets under:
� Chamber Connections – a trade visit programme utilising connections with the worldwide chamber network
� GetworkEU - a trade development programme focusing on Eruropean markets
� Gateways USA – a trade mission programme to cities in the United States
The three programmes are funded by Invest NI.
Development Locally
In addition to its trading for export programmes, the Northern Ireland Chamber also delivers local sourcing initiatives designed to introduce Northern Ireland SMEs to larger procurement organisations and to encourage business between participants.
