The Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce is Northern Ireland's ultimate business network, with a membership of over 1,000 drawn from manufacturing, services, retail, distribution and the professions.
The chamber supports local business by providing unrivalled networking opportunities, promoting members’ commercial interests, and assisting member businesses to develop new and expanded export trade potential. The Chamber also offers a wide-ranging portfolio of training and development master-classes and events.
In addition, the Chamber works with the business community to engage with political representatives and policy makers to make government more business friendly and to tackle the structural flaws in our economy. Through lobbying and advocacy the Chamber makes a valuable contribution to the development of enterprise and economic policy in Northern Ireland.
What our member’s say:
Our membership of the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce gives us great opportunities to meet and network with both large and small businesses right across Northern Ireland. As well as generating direct business leads, the most useful contacts we’ve made there have allowed us to develop strong, reciprocal partnerships with other firms. Great networking is a really two-way process: helping businesses become walking, talking ads for each other!
Keith Pryde, Business Development Manager, AMI Computer Recycling
The economy in Northern Ireland is at a critical stage and if we are to meet the challenges ahead it is vital that government and business work together. Our involvement at the Chamber, through the In Camera series and other events, has allowed our business to engage directly with Government Ministers and senior civil servants and set out how they can be more ‘business friendly’ and supportive of local businesses.
