Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce award winning taxi company fonaCAB as a new Chamber patron.
The Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce patronage scheme provides a tailor made benefits package to leading companies in Northern Ireland, offering major profile raising opportunities and the opportunity to access and network with business leaders, politicians and their advisers.
fonaCAB’s patronage of Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce follows their recent Head Office relocation with the opening of a new taxi sales and service centre at Knock Road Belfast – a first for the local taxi industry.
fonaCAB, who this year celebrates its 50th birthday, employs 75 support staff and has 500 drivers with a reputation for providing a professional and consistent service, pushing the boundaries of customer excellence. fonaCAB was the first local taxi firm to introduce computerized dispatch, in-car meters, roof signs and uniformed drivers in private hire cars in Northern Ireland.
fonaCAB is an award winning company, being named as UK company of the year by ‘Go Skills’ the sector skills council for passenger transport and winning the Department of Employment and Learning Partnership Apprentice Award. It is the first taxi company in Northern Ireland to achieve the Investors in People Standard.
Welcoming fonaCAB’s patronage, Francis Martin, President of Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce commented:
“Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce fonaCAB as our newest patron.
fonaCAB boasts a large range of executive cars, which many businesses use for transporting VIP clients to and from airports or to corporate events.
We look forward to working in partnership with them as they celebrate their 50th year in business – a great achievement and indication of a company with a strong customer focus.”
William McCausland, Managing Director of fonaCAB, commented:
“fonaCAB understands how important a company’s first impression is, and how this reflects on a business. We look forward to working with Chamber members and the wider business community to provide Northern Ireland companies with a quality service and a great first impression.
Our commitment to friendly, attentive customer service is unrivalled and from our dispatchers to our drivers, you will encounter the highest standard of professionalism and etiquette.
We view the Chamber as being a very successful and well supported communication tool, assisting the business community in general as well as helping to boost the economic development of the region, and we are therefore delighted to be part of the patron scheme.”
The Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce patronage scheme is limited to 12 companies, which sees fonaCAB join current Chamber patrons Belfast International Airport, FG Wilson, Grafton Employment Group, Investec Wealth and Investment, McGrigors, Northern Bank, TR Logistics Group, Ulster Bank, Ulster Business School and Xperience.
